Moodboards revisited

I feel much happier with this example above as it is much simpler and clean, as my previous mood boards were very busy and cut and paste which is not the aesthetic I wanted to run with!

Giovanni Pepe

Giovanni Pepe has a real fancy website but the basic graphics and layout are very visually appealing.
The cardboard cutout as a frame to all of his work is a clever idea.
Easy Bistro

The Easy Bistro's web page layout is very appealing to me, the colours and the fonts used esspecially.
The image displayed in the background fades into another and continues through a selection of images.

Alexey Chernishov

Alexey Chernishov has a downwards scrolling webpage that contains the whole site. Issues that could arrise with such a site are problems with slow connections loading all the information on that page.
Michael Ngo

Michael Ngo is a student studying interactive arts and technology. He put Colin Moore's design of a site into action.
This site is a really nice idea in that the menu runs along the bottom of every page and the options for each art work are displayed horizontally also.

Rose Fu's home page

Rose Fu's home page is a collaboration of 4 main visual asspects.
-A blurb about herself
-Samples of work featured in her site
-A email quick message area
-And the background of this main index page is set up like a view of a room as you scroll down.
*very impressive, she is very experienced however, as she specializes in front-end design and standards-compliant XHTML and CSS..
Shane Mielke

Shane Mielke has used a textured 'wood look' for his background and interesting use of tabs and header on top of this.

Kaniez Abdi

Kaniez Abdi has a clean, fresh looking portfolio. Contained in a small window, with a simple menu running across the top of the screen. Lovely use to colour that harmonizes with her images.

Sandra Romanoff

Stumbled across this textile designer while researching website styles.
I can really relate to her feminine style.
I love her variation in surface and textile designs, in addition to how she has collaborated many themes across her portfolio.
Sandra includes styling shots alongside images of repeat pattern that let the viewer to obtain a sense of application on a finished product.
This allows potential clients, who may not have a design background, to visualise how a design can be used.
